Jakarta, 6 November 2025. The Sharia Banking Master's Study Program held visiting lecturer activities by presenting lecturers from Sakarya University, Turkey, Dr. Aam Rusydiana, ME. The activity was opened by the Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibn Qizam, M.Si with moderator Dr. Roikhan M. Aziz, MM. In his speech, the Dean of FEB welcomed visiting lecturer activities like this to broaden Sharia banking insight not only in Indonesia but also in Turkey. “FEB welcomes the visiting lecturer who this time presented lecturers from Sakarya University, Türkiye. "Hopefully the students participating in this activity can gain comparative insight between Sharia banking in Indonesia and its practice in Turkey”," said Prof. Qizam opened the event.

In line with the Dean, Head of the Sharia Banking Master's Study Program FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Dr. Muhajirin, ME said that this activity was carried out to help students, both undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees, to find the theme of their final assignment so that students can graduate on time”, Muhajirin added. This activity, which was packaged online via the zoom application, received a positive response with an interactive discussion led by Dr. Roikhan as moderator.

In his presentation, resource person Dr. Aam said that the fairly rapid growth of Sharia banking in Turkey was due to government support. “The Turkish government issued a top-down policy to encourage the acceleration of Sharia banking growth in Turkey”, Aam said.
