Blue Economy - The National Webinar of the Accounting Study Program Student Association (HMPS)
Saturday, December 4, 2021, the Accounting Study Program Student Association (HMPS) held a Blue Economy Webinar Activity. It was one of the work programs in the Inter-Institutional Relations Sector. This Blue Economy webinar was held with the theme “Suistainable Economic Development with Creativity and Preserve Nature” and was intended for all students majoring in accounting at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and the general public. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and insight about the Blue Economy concept. This webinar was attended by more than 270 participants.
The event was opened by MC Richa Rafika and M. Ghailan Pradesha at 13.15. Next, the reading of the Kalam Illahi by Farhan Faturrahman and singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya. There were remarks from the Chief Executive (Faurelya Almira Rahma), Head of the Accounting HMPS UIN Jakarta (Adinda Aprilia), Head of the Accounting Study Program (Ms. Yessi Fitri, SE, Ak., M. Si), and Vice Dean III FEB (Mr. Prof. Dr. M. Nur Rianto Al Arif, SE., M. Si
The event continued with an introduction to the blue economy concept delivered by the keynote speaker. In this Blue Economy Webinar, HMPS Accounting UIN Jakarta invited Mr. Basilio Dias Araujo from the Deputy for Maritime Sovereignty and Energy as a keynote speaker to present material related to the blue economy concept which is still new in Indonesia and few people understand this concept. The participants seemed enthusiastic about the explanation given by Mr. Basilio regarding the blue economy, seen from several questions asked by the participants to the Deputy for Maritime Sovereignty and Energy. Further explanation regarding the blue economy was also conveyed by Kak Kaisar Akhir who is a colleague of Mr. Basilio and the Founder & Chairman of Maritim Muda. Kak Kaisar said that the blue economy concept is well known by many people and it is hoped that all Indonesian people can realize the importance of the blue economy to be understood because this blue economy is a concept of optimizing water resources that aims to increase economic growth through various innovative and creative activities with continue to ensure business sustainability and environmental sustainability
the main event, HMPS Accounting UIN Jakarta invited keynote persons from the Ministry of Finance and the Jakarta Eco Project. The first presentation about the blue economy was delivered by Mr. Bejo Waluyo from the Ministry of Finance and was guided by moderator Vibran Rahardian. The participants were very enthusiastic about listening to Mr. Bejo Waluyo's presentation of the material, as seen from the many participants who wanted to ask questions regarding this material during the interactive discussion. However, not all questions can be answered by Mr. Bejo given the limited time so Mr. Bejo Waluyo advised that the participants should always feel unsatisfied with new knowledge so it is necessary to always want to ask questions and it is hoped that HMPS Accounting UIN Jakarta can carry out the Blue Economy Webinar This is again in the next period. The event continued with the handing over of certificates to Mr. Bejo Waluyo and continued with a group photo session
Before next presentation, games were held using the quizziz website. After that, it was continued with the delivery of the second material by the resource person, Kak Atiyatul Farhani, who is the Executive Director of the Jakarta Eco Project. This second presentatation was a socialization about Ecobricks. The term Ecobricks is a use of environmentally friendly plastic waste that is used as useful goods and gives new life to plastic waste. Kak Atiyatul Farhani said that the management of waste or plastic waste through ecobricks is one of the suggestions from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries so that socialization about ecobricks can certainly be very beneficial for all participants and the community. An interactive discussion held after the second presentation, then the handover of certificates to the presenters and a group photo session
This Blue Economy webinar was sponsored by Inez Cosmetic so that there will also be socialization about Inez Cosmetic at this event. The activity which lasted for approximately 3 hours was then closed with a closing prayer read by Farhan Faturahman and closing by the MC.
