Career Workshop WESHARE 2021: Golden Career of Sharia Economy
Saturday, December 11, 2021, WESHARE held a national-based event, namely the Career Workshop. This event carries the theme "Golden Career of Sharia Economy". The event was opened first by the MC, namely Sister Hilmatul Fuadiyah at 08.30 WIB. Then continued with the reading of Divine Word by Brother Ainul Yaqin, singing the song Indonesia Raya and Mars FoSSEI which was attended by all participants with great wisdom, then a group photo, followed by a sponsorship video showing.
Next, the main event, the delivery of the first session material moderated by Sister Hanifah Anandita Ramadhonna. Starting with the video Company Profile Muamalat Institute. The first material was delivered by Mr. Anton Hendrianto as (Division Head of People Development & Culture at PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia) with the theme "Sharia Banking". He conveyed 6 indicators, namely; First, the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia, where the market share of Islamic banking is still small but has increased from 4% to 6.51%. Second, the potential of Islamic banking in Indonesia, this potential is supported by the very large Muslim population in Indonesia and also the level of awareness of the needs of the halal sector. Third, the resources needed in Islamic banking include skills, literacy, digital and regulations. Fourth, Islamic banking career prospects, where there are 61,389 HR who work in Islamic banking and approximately 4,500 HR annually who are ready to work. Fifth, career opportunities and challenges in Islamic banking. Sixth, Tips for a successful career in Islamic banking. As an entrepreneur, you must understand the Cashflow Quadrant, which is a quadrant that groups various kinds of work that can be done to bring in money. Cashflow Quadrant includes 4 namely Employees, Self Employed, Business Owners, and Investors. To enter the world of work requires not only 1 skill but many skills. The role of zakat in inclusive income distribution includes: First, zakat is only an instrument that functions as an income distribution mechanism, but also as an opportunity distribution mechanism. Second, with the increasing purchasing power of the poor due to zakat, the opportunity to try and work productively will also be achieved. Third, the virtue of distributing zakat is to increase the purchasing power of people belonging to groups entitled to receive zakat. So that consumption activities can continue to take place inclusively to support demand, which in turn will encourage the supply of these consumption goods and services.
