Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Held The 3rd International Conference of Islamic Finance and Business (ICIFEB) 2022
Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held the International Conference of Islamic Finance and Business (ICIFEB) for the third time on 19 and 20 July 2022. The 3rd ICIFEB is a continuation of the conference series held in 2017 and 2018. The theme raised at the 3rd ICIFEB is Achieving Sustainability Through Islamic Finance and Business Digital Transformation. This conference chose this theme based on the current economic and business conditions that have entered the Society 5.0 era, where the use of technology has penetrated all economic and business activities, including the Islamic finance industry.
In delivering the big theme, the 3rd ICIFEB presented prominent scholars from within and outside the country. The prominent scholar who was presented at the 3rd ICIFEB was Prof. Roszaini Haniffa, Ph.D., Prof. Mohammad Hudaib, Ph.D., Prof. Mansor H. Ibrahim, Ph.D., Prof. Eckhard Freyer, Ph.D., Prof. Margareth Gfrerer, Ph.D., Ir. H. M. Nadratuzaman Hosen, MS, M.Ec, Ph.D., and Dr. M. Arief Mufraini, Lc., M.Sc. Thanks are conveyed to all prominent scholars who have been willing to become speakers at the 3rd ICIFEB.
This activity was opened with an opening speech from Prof. Dr. Amilin, SE, Ak., M.Si (Dean of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), Dr. Hussein Ali Osman (Register from Umma University, Kenya), and Prof. Dr. Hj. Amany Lubis, MA (Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta). In addition, Dr. Halim Alamsyah (Expert Staff from the Ministry of Finance and Vice Chairman of IAEI) delivered the keynote speech at this international conference.
This conference also presents articles submitted by presenters. Presenters at this conference came from Indonesia, Kenya, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, and Morocco. There were 114 articles presented in the 3rd ICIFEB. Presentations are presented in 10 parallel sessions accompanied by chair sessions and discussants.
This activity was supported by co-hosts from several universities from Indonesia, Kenya, and Brunei Darussalam.
