Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum Workshop and its Implementation in RPS
Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held an Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum Workshop. The purpose of holding a curriculum workshop is to be able to implement a common understanding of the curriculum based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework so that study programs are able to determine their curriculum based on the expected graduate profile.
The workshop lasted for three days, Monday 13 June to Wednesday 15 June 2022. This activity was held at the Mercure Hotel, Ancol Jakarta area. The workshop was attended by all representatives of Study Program (Prodi) lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Undergraduate (S1), Master (S2) and Doctoral (S3) programs.
The Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum Workshop of the Faculty of Economics and Business began with an opening by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Prof. Dr. Amilin, M.Sc., Ak., CA., QIA., BKP., CRMP. The first day of the workshop, the introductory session of the curriculum workshop and discussion of the study program curriculum book by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, FEB Dr. Titi Dewi Warninda, M.Si.
The resource persons at the Outcome Based Education (OBE)-based curriculum workshop on the second day were internal resource persons at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah and external resource persons, Dr. Ulil Hartono, SE., M.Sc. Dr. Ulil Hartono, SE., M.Si is a senior lecturer at the State University of Surabaya. The resource persons in this session explained and provided an overview of the implementation of Outcome Based Education (OBE) in the curriculum of the study program and the steps for its implementation in the Semester Learning Plan (RPS).
The internal resource person at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is the Head of the Quality Assurance Agency (LPM) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Muhammad Zuhdi, M.Ed., Ph.D. The head of LPM explained in outline the academic policies at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
During the Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum Workshop, the representatives of the study program lecturers discussed with the heads of their respective study programs discussing the development of their study program curriculum and the implementation of the OBE-based curriculum in the RPS of each study program.
