GIS FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta – Investment Competition: Be Smart Trader Be Profit
G-Vestcom itself is an investment competition consisting of 2 stages, the first is the Trading stage on July 4-15, 2022 and the presentation stage on July 23, 2022. On May 30, 2022, the Sharia Investment Gallery FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta starts open registration for the early bird stage of the G-Vestcom competition (GIS FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta – Investment Competition). The registration stage for G-Vestcom lasts until June 10, 2022 with a registration fee of Rp. 75,000 per team/individual. Then, G-Vestcom opens two more registration stages, namely the regular and regular extended stages. The regular stage will be open from 11 – 22 June 2022, while the extended regular stage will be open on 23 – 30 June 2022.
On July 2, 2022, the G-Vestcom technical meeting was held which was attended by 15 teams who have registered. This technical meeting is part of the series of SCMW 2022 openings. On that day, it was opened with remarks from the Vice Dean III for student affairs at FEB, then continued with Mrs. Aini's remarks as the GIS supervisor at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. After Mrs. Aini, the speech was continued by the Chairperson of GIS FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and finally closed with a speech from the chief executive of SCMW 2022 as well as opening SCMW by cutting a ribbon. The Technical Meeting itself starts at 10:00 and ends at 10:45. The time allocation for the technical meeting itself is 30 minutes of presentation of the competition rules, and 15 minutes of questions and answers.
On July 4, the first stage of G-Vestcom began, namely the trading stage in the first week. The trading stage in the first week takes place from July 4-8, 2022 and on July 9, participants' data is recorded. The trading stage in the second week starts from July 11-15, 2022 and on the 16th trading data is recorded in the second week, as well as determining the participants who pass to the presentation stage. Then, on July 19, 2022, an announcement was made of participants who passed to the next stage, or the G-Vestcom presentation stage. Participants will be asked to submit their presentation files via the google drive link provided by the committee. This file must be submitted no later than July 22, 2022 until 23.59 WIB.
On July 23, 2022, the G-Vestcom presentation stage was held which was attended by 7 participants who had passed the previous stage. At this presentation stage, there are two judges who evaluate the participants. The first judge was Mrs. Aini Masruroh, S.E.I, MM who is an expert in the capital market. The second jury is Mas Rifqi Satria Dinandra, S.Si., who is an equity analyst at Indo Premier Sekuritas. This presentation stage starts at 09.00 until 13.00 through zoom cloud meeting. On August 6, 2022, the winner of G-Vestcom 2022 was announced at the Closing SCMW 2022. From the two stages that have been carried out, finally 3 winners have been won from G-Vestcom 2022. The 1st place was won by the Solo Rek Team from the Institute of Technology November ten. 2nd place was won by Floryn Team from Pelita Bagsa University. The 3rd place winner was won by the AUB SKA Team from Universitas Dharma AUB Surakarta.
