This is just some of our commitments in advancing the Islamic economic system in Indonesia.
Prof. Dr. Habib Ahmed, said that the New Institutional Economy (NIE) is a strong interplay of knowledge and economic development. Due to the lack of knowledge creation, Islamic finance has been a marginal adapter. Lack of institutions, organizations, and products reflecting appropriate values and norms. Because of these conditions, Islamic finance should play a significant role in the New Institutional Economy (NIE).
This event can be held in collaboration with BI Institute, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, supported by ISEI, IAEI, and HMJ Islamic Banking.
