Islamic Economics and Financial Studies Series 1: Halal and Haram in Industry
  Wednesday, November 23, 2022 The Islamic Economics Masters Study Program (MES) FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held an Islamic Economics and Finance Study Session 1. This activity was held in collaboration with FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and the Association of Indonesian Islamic Economists (IAEI) Commissariat of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The implementation of this activity was carried out in a hybrid manner, which was moderated by Dr. Mohammad Lutfi, M.M as a lecturer at FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This activity was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Amylin, M.Sc., Ak. In his remarks, he appreciated the committee that had initiated the implementation of this Sharia Economic and Financial Study. It is hoped that activities like this can be carried out on an ongoing basis which will be filled in by several speakers from both internal and external FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Chairman of the IAEI Commissariat of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nur Rianto Al Arif, M.Si welcomed this activity as an effort to increase Islamic economic and financial literacy in Indonesia. The presentation of the material this time was delivered by Dr. Atmo Prawiro, SH.I, M.E.Sy. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta who is also the BBSPJIKFK Sharia Expert at the Ministry of Industry. On this occasion, the resource person explained the critical point of the production process in the company in terms of whether a product is halal or haram. This activity ended with an interesting discussion between the resource person and the participants.
