Research Methods Training: Analytical Hierarchy Process
On Friday, September 3, 2021, PLP FEB UIN Jakarta held statistical training on the AHP method for students and lecturers. The resource persons in this training were DR. Riris Aishah Prasetyowati, MM permanent lecturer at FEB UIN Jakarta. This activity was also moderated by DR. Endah Meiria, M.Si who is also a permanent lecturer at FEB UIN Jakarta. In this activity, resource persons explained the technicalities of AHP applications by practicing the use of expert choice software. Participants who had previously been asked to install expertchoice software also took part in practicing the details of the AHP application. The AHP approach is one of the methods used in qualitative analysis to solve problems through multilevel (hierarchical) decision making. The AHP model will greatly assist researchers in analyzing economic phenomena related to decisions as well as human perceptions. The resource person in this training explained about the AHP application that he had done in the field of research he was engaged in. The training went very well where participants from lecturers and students discussed each other to complete understanding and share experiences in applying AHP. This training is expected to provide provisions for students who want to write a thesis or final project with a qualitative approach, or when they want to see human perceptions in a broad economic dimension. Finally, PLP FEB UIN Jakarta is committed to continuing to facilitate the development of statistical technical capabilities and data processing analysis so that the quality of the resulting research develops in terms of quality and quantity.
