The signing of the Cooperation Agreement between FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and SMAN 8 South Tangerang
Monday, December 20, 2021, the cooperation agreement between FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and SMAN 8 South Tangerang was officially signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Prof. Dr. Amilin, SE, Ak, M.Si with the Principal of SMA 8 South Tangerang, Dr. H. Imam Supingi, S.Pd., MM at FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The scope of the cooperation agreement includes: (a) Admission of new students through prospective new students who excel in academics (excluding report cards) and non-academic; (b) Community service activities; (c) Collaboration in organizing joint activities.
Discussions related to collaboration between institutions have been discussed since early 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the signing process was delayed. Although the cooperation agreement has not been officially signed, the realization of inter-institutional activities has been carried out well. Some of the activities that have been carried out are: acceptance of prospective new students who excel, resource persons from the FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta at several activities at SMAN 8 South Tangerang, and other activities.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Prof. Dr. Amilin, SE, Ak, M.Si said that FEB develops horizontal and vertical cooperation, including with universities, industry, ministries/state institutions, non-governmental institutions, and foreign cooperation partners, including high school and equivalent. which is located in the province of Banten. SMAN 8 South Tangerang is a pilot project in collaboration with FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta with high school and equivalent. Cooperation with schools in the Banten Province aims to provide guidance to the younger generation as well as an effort to advance education in Indonesia.
