The Accounting Study Program holds a Curriculum Review Meeting
Friday, August 12, 2022. The Accounting Study Program held a 2021-2022 curriculum change meeting. The meeting was chaired and opened by the Head of the Accounting Study Program, Yessi Fitri, M.Sc., Ak., CA. This activity was attended by all lecturers of the accounting study program. The aim of the activity is to update the curriculum of the accounting study program so that it is in line with the OBE (Outcome Based Education)-based curriculum. OBE is an education system that emphasizes what students can do well at the end of their learning experience. Students must be able to demonstrate the learning outcomes of graduates (CPL) from a learning experience.
On this occasion, Reskino, M.Sc., Ak., CA., Ph.D. permanent lecturer of accounting and central administrator of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) for the Educator Accountant compartment, explained that the process of changing and adapting the accounting curriculum must be preceded by curriculum mapping first. The curriculum is mapped to the curricula that characterize universities, identify faculties and characterize study programs.
The next discussion carried out a comparison of the accounting curricula of several leading state university (PTN) accounting study programs such as UI, UGM, Unair, UB. Furthermore, the PTN curriculum is adjusted to the curriculum of the accounting study program FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Dr. Khayatunnufus, M.Si proposed several stages of curriculum change until it became the final curriculum of the accounting study program.
