Qualified Synergy between the two PTKINs for the Realization of the MBKM Program to Improve the Quality of Higher Education
It is undeniable that in this global era, it is impossible for an organization/institution to only work individually to advance its organization. A synergy is needed through collaboration between several institutions in order to advance the quality of higher education, so that acceleration occurs by optimizing all available resources. Alhamdulillah... Islamic Center Building UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau on Friday, October 7, 2022 has witnessed the historical signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) document by two Deans, namely the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (Prof. Dr. Amilin, MSi, Ak, CA, QIA, BKP, CRMP) and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (Dr. Hj. Mahyarni, SE, MM). The two campus leaders agreed and were committed to establishing cooperation to improve the quality of the Tridharma of Higher Education, especially in the successful implementation of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program. The cooperation program between the two campuses includes: (1) education, teaching and student affairs; (2) cooperation in the field of research; and (3) cooperation in the field of community service. For cooperation in the fields of education and teaching, the realization includes: student exchange, joint conference, visiting professor, resource person (for public lectures, webinars, workshops, training, and others). Cooperation in the field of research, for example: joint research, joint publications, research reviews, journal paper reviews, and others. Cooperation in the field of community service, for example: cooperation in fostering Mitra Village, cooperation in community service based on strategic issues. As a realization of this commitment to cooperation, after the ceremonial signing of the cooperation document was completed, we immediately moved to the next event, which was holding a public lecture whose resource persons were directly filled in by Prof. Dr. Amilin. The theme of this general lecture discusses strategic issues of the Economy in Indonesia Post-Covid-19. More specifically, the title of the material presented by the resource person was "Indonesian Economy in the Global Economy". This public lecture was originally to be opened directly by the Chancellor of UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (Prof. Dr. Hairunas, M.Ag), but suddenly the Chancellor had an official assignment to Jakarta, so the public lecture was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (Dr. Hj. Mahyarni, SE, MM). This public lecture was attended by around a thousand students and lecturers, as well as structural officials in the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau who filled all available seats in the Islamic Center building, both on the ground floor and on the balcony floor.
