Start Up Class: Marketing and Promotion Channel and Digital Marketing
On Saturday, April 9, 2022, the Entrepreneur Learning Center of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a start-up class with the theme "Set up your mind to be an entrepreneur" in the fifth week. This Start Up Class is a program that has a learning curriculum in gradually honing marketing strategy skills in a business. The material discussed in the fifth week of start-up is "Marketing and promotion channel & Digital Marketing". The speakers in the discussion in the fifth week were Bayu Ilham Ghifary and Idrus.
The objectives of this activity are: (1) To equip participants with a Marketing Mindset and Skills; (2) Provide knowledge to the participants step by step in developing a business; (3) Fostering the spirit to develop to the participants as successful entrepreneurs in Islam; (4) Provide space to strengthen the ties of friendship for all participants.
The first stage was the opening by Karmila, a FEB student majoring in management as MC. Next is a group photo guided by the operator. After that, the MC read out the speaker's CV. After reading the CV, the resource person explained material about Marketing and Promotion Channel & Digital Marketing for 60 minutes and asked questions for 15 minutes. In this fifth meeting, the resource persons explained how to promote through available channels, explained distribution channels, and explained how to do digital marketing. After presenting the material and asking questions, the MC handed over the e-certificate to the resource person.
After submitting the e-certificate, the committee explained the final task that would be assigned to the Start Up Class participants and informed the provisions for the door prize story challenge for the 2022 start-up class, followed by a prayer session by Kievo Syah Gusman and closing by the MC. At the fifth meeting of the Start Up Class, we hope that the participants will be able to understand the material that has been presented by the resource persons, and have started to make tasks that have been explained by the committee. The committee also thanked the Start Up Class participants for their participation in participating in a series of Start Up Class events from the first to the fifth meeting. Hopefully the knowledge presented by the Start Up Class presenters can add insight and can be useful for their lives.
