Tuesday, July 5, 2022, the Masters Program in Islamic Economics held a Studium General which invited expert speakers in the field of Islamic economics and finance. The theme raised in this general studio activity is Islamic Sustainable Finance Architecture in Indonesia. The speakers in this activity were Dr. Ahmad Juwaini (Director of Sharia Social Finance KNEKS). The moderator in this activity is Dr. Nofrianto, M.Ag who is the Head of the Sharia Economics Masters Study Program. This activity was carried out in a hybrid manner, where the speakers gave their presentations offline. This activity was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Prof. Dr. Amilin, S.E., Ak., M.Sc. In his remarks, he welcomed this activity, especially the topic which really provided the latest understanding of the development of sharia economics. Dr. Ahmad Juwaini in his presentation stated that Islamic finance must include in the process of increasing the five pillars of Islamic maqashid. The focal point of Islamic maqashid and sustainable finance is sustainable development and inclusiveness. In addition, sustainable Islamic finance will be able to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
