National Webinar 3 WESHARE 2021: Digital Economy Transformation to Support Ecosystem Society 5.0
The Week of Sharia Economic Exhibition (WESHARE) 2021 is an Islamic Economic Study Circle (LiSEnSi) activity which is held every two years. On December 8, 2021, WESHARE is holding a national-based event, the Third National Webinar. This National Webinar had the topic of “Digital Economy” with the theme “Digital Economic Transformation to Support Society 5.0 Ecosystem”.
The event was opened by the MC, Sekar Pramesti Putri at 09.00 WIB. Then it was continued with the reading of the Kalam Illahi by Ramadhan, singing the anthem Indonesia Raya and Mars FoSSEI, then photo session of all participant. Next session was the screening of the sponsorship video.
MThe main event, Presentation that moderated by Dr. Endah Meira, S.E., M.Sc. The first material was delivered by Prof. Dr. M. Nur Rianto Al Arif, SE, M.Sc., CRA., CRP., CPF., AWP., CIB who is Professor of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. He explained the “Industrial Revolution 4.0". The summary was the new era of digital industrialization has several threats which in general the global era of digitalization will eliminate around 1-1.5 billion workers during 2015-2025 because the position of human power will be replaced by automatic machine power. In addition to threats, the digitalization era will also create several opportunities where the digitalization era has the potential to provide an increase in the net workforce of up to 2.1 million new jobs by 2025. In society 5.0, it is defined as a condition where there is a high level of convergence between virtual worlds (virtual space). and physical space. Society 5.0 a large amount of information from physical space sensors is accumulated in cyberspace, this big data is analyzed by artificial intelligence (AI) and the results of the analysis are fed back to humans in physical space in various forms. The challenges that must be faced in digital transformation in Indonesia are to prepare infrastructure readiness, HR readiness, internet bandwidth, and digital literacy.
The second speaker was Taufik Ardi Susilo, CEO of TokoIG. He explained about the Digital Economy to Support the Ecosystem of Society 5.0. In the digital economy, there are seven (7) very important step-by-step points where first we must determine the objectives or goals, determine the market, research trending topics, then use digital media, digital content creators, e-commerce enabling, and database management. Furthermore, the challenges in the digital economic transformation that most often occur are cyber security, competition, and regulation.
