Session 1 National Webinar: Islamic Micro Finance
The Week of Sharia Economic Exhibition (WESHARE) 2021 is an Islamic Economic Study Circle (LiSEnSi) activity which is held every two years. On Sunday, December 5, 2021, WESHARE was held The National Webinar. The theme was "Improving the Synergy of Sharia Microfinance Institutions with MSMEs to Increase Economic Competitiveness". The event was opened by the MC, Ms. Malika Nurwin Fitria at 09.20 WIB. This was followed by the reading of the divine word by Brother Muharam Pasaribu, singing the anthem Indonesia Raya and Mars FoSSEI accompanied by the conductor, sister Intan Nurindah, then taking a group photo, followed by showing the sponsorship video.
Next activity was the main event.It moderated by Dr. Yuke Rahmawati as a lecturer at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The first speaker was delivered by Mr. Alfi Wijaya as President Director of BPRS HIK, with a summary of the material, namely that BPRS became an amplifier as well as had a major contribution to increasing the synergy of Islamic microfinance institutions, and as a reinforcer it certainly had challenges, namely: BPRS in strengthening identity, product development and product digitization, information technology and digitalization, BPRS institutions, education and literacy regarding BPRS,
The second speaker was Iim Rusyamsi, ST, MM. as chairman of OK OCE. He explained that statistical data showed that 64 million, which is around 99.9% including MSMEs in Indonesia, we must be ready with product innovation, because actually there are many good products but need innovation because of increasingly stringent competitiveness. Some of the Islamic microfinance partnership programs include; First Baitul mal wal tamwil (4,500 BMT) non-governmental organizations for financing, Second Savings and Loan Cooperatives, Third Sharia Fintech must be utilized, Fourth BPRS must be utilized, Fifth Islamic Banking can cooperate with LKMS.
