Session 2 National Webinar: Sharia Investment
The Week of Sharia Economic Exhibition (WESHARE) 2021 is an Islamic Economic Study Circle (LiSEnSi) activity which is held every two years. With a majority Muslim population in Indonesia and a country that has the largest Islamic financial assets in the world as well as clear capital market regulations, 25 of the 141 DSN MUI fatwas are fatwas regarding the permissibility of investing or other transactions in the Islamic capital market. He said that sharia investment is not gambling, sharia investment is a transaction of buying and selling sharia securities to generate profits and blessings.
