Development Economics Workshop "Utilizing Potential Demographic Bonuses to Accelerate Economic Growth in Indonesia"
Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta held a Workshop with the theme "Utilizing the Potential of Demographic Bonuses to Accelerate Economic Growth in Indonesia". The workshop presented resource persons from the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas (National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency) Dr. Mohammad Cholifihani, SE., MA. He is the Director of Population and Social Security at Bappenas. Workshop Moderator Shelby Deviani W., M.Sc. permanent lecturer in Development Economics FEB. The workshops were held hybrid, online and offline. Offline in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the FEB-2 building.   The workshop was attended offline and online by students of Development Economics, and lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business. Head of Study Program Dr. Mohammad Hartana, M.Si and Secretary of the Study Program Dr. Fitri Amalia, M.Si, and the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs FEB had the opportunity to attend the meeting room on the 2nd floor. Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Titi Dewi Warninda, M.Si also gave an introductory speech and the opening of the Workshop on Development Economics on behalf of the Dean of FEB Prof. Dr. Amilin, M.Si., Ak., CA.   After the reading of the Qur'an by the students of Development Economics, the presentation of the workshop speakers was continued. Dr. Cholifihani explained several topics of discussion. In the initial session, he explained about the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) then continued with an explanation of Population, Indonesian Population Demography. Demographic overview of the Indonesian population from the four Indonesian Population Censuses that have been conducted so far. The workshop ended with a question and answer session.
