Workshop on RPS Preparation for Research-Based MPS Study Programs and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Outputs
Ciputat (19/08/2021) - Master Program in Sharia Banking Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has held a Workshop on RPS Preparation for Masters in Sharia Banking Study Program using the Zoom Online platform and opened with remarks from the Dean of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Amilin, S.E., Ak.. Then continued with the opening delivered by the Chancellor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Hj. Amany Lubis, MA.
In preparing the curriculum for the study program, it is necessary to think about so that the expected outcomes, goals, and educational objectives to be achieved by the curriculum do not contain basic values that quickly become obsolete and/or irrelevant, things like this called a saber toothed curriculum. The curriculum must be responsive to the changing needs of stakeholders for graduates of the study program. To minimize weaknesses that may occur in the preparation, development, implementation and evaluation and refinement of the curriculum, a quality assurance system is needed in the curriculum of the study program.
This workshop was delivered by the Professor of Islamic Economics at YASRI University, Prof. Dr. Nurul Huda, SE., MM., M.Sc. with material on RPS Preparation Strategy Based on Research and Publication Output and Outcome Based (OBE) and will be continued by the Head of Social Studies Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Dr. Iwan Purwanto, M.Pd delivering material on the Preparation of Research-Based RPS and Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
The speaker conveyed the need for Semester Learning Plans (RPS) as a guide for lecturers in teaching learning in courses, a reference for the continuous improvement cycle (PDCA), providing transparency & accountability in learning, providing clear learning guides for students, ensuring the achievement of learning outcomes ( SKL/CPL), and in order to learn more efficiently & effectively, focus on the performance of learning outcomes (SKL/CPL).
This workshop activity aims to provide an understanding of the development of the New Curriculum for the MPS UIN Jakarta Study Program into a research-based Semester Learning Plan with publication output as well as Outcome-Based Education. Outcome Based-Education).
