Mosque Accounting Online Workshop: Improving Skills and Techniques for Compiling Mosque Financial Accounting Reports
Social & Religious Affairs HMPS Accounting UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. and the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI)-KAPd collaborated to hold an Online Workshop on Mosque Accounting on Saturday, September 25, 2021. This activity was carried out through online media and was attended by 334 participants with very high enthusiasm during the question and answer session. The theme raised in this activity is the Improvement of Skills and Techniques for Compiling Mosque Financial Accounting Reports. This activity began with remarks by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation Prof. Dr. M. Nur Rianto Al Arif, SE, M.Si, CRA, CRP, CIB, CPF, AWP, and Head of Accounting Study Program Yessi Fitri, SE, M.Si, Ak, CA. Furthermore, the first presentation was delivered by Rahmawati, SE, MM, Ph.D. In his presentation, the resource person conveyed the lack of public awareness in maintaining mosques. The resource person also conveyed the importance of public awareness regarding the transparency of mosque financial reports. The second resource person for this activity was Andy Prasetiawan Hamzah, SST, M.Sc., Ak (STAN PKN Lecturer & Mosque Accounting Trainer). In his presentation, the resource person introduced the features that exist in the Mosque Accounting Excel Application and explained how to use it with the simulation method of practice questions. Starting from setting the identity of the mosque, inputting the mosque's initial balance and budget, recording transactions, to printing financial reports and ledgers. This activity is expected to raise public awareness of the importance of mosque financial reporting standards and how to prepare mosque financial accounting reports using the Mosque Accounting Excel Application.
