Workshop on Islamic Economics Masters Study Program: Experiments as an Alternative Method in Collecting Islamic Economic Research Data
Thursday, 10 November 2022 the Master of Islamic Economics study program held a workshop to improve the research abilities of students and lecturers in the field of Islamic economics and finance. The material that will be given at the workshop this time is the Experimental Method. The resource person for this activity was Dr. Hariman Bone, M.Sc., Ak from Mulawarman University. This activity was moderated by Fitri Yani Jali, M.Sc (Secretary of the Islamic Economics Masters Study Program). This workshop activity collaborated with the DPP of the Indonesian Lecturers Association (ADI) and the DPW of the Association of Islamic Economics Experts (IAEI) DKI Jakarta. This activity was opened with remarks by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nur Rianto Al Arif, M.Sc who is also the Secretary General of the DPP of the Indonesian Lecturers Association and Chair IV of the IAEI DKI Jakarta DPW. In his remarks, he said that there is still very limited research on Islamic economics and finance using experimental methods. Dr. Hariman Bone, M.Sc., Ak explained systematically about this experimental method starting from how to collect data to processing it. In addition, several examples of topics that can be used as experimental research are also given. Therefore, today's topic will be very useful in improving the quality of research in the study of Islamic economics and finance.
