Writing Class: Realizing Sharia Banking Students as Young Intellectuals who are Creative and Skilled in Writing Papers
On October 1, 2, and 3, 2021, the Research and Development Division of the Islamic Banking HMPS for the 2020/2021 period, the Faculty of Economics and Business, held a WRITING CLASS with the theme "Creating Islamic Banking Students as Young Intellectuals who are Creative and Skilled in Scientific Writing." This event was held with the aim of improving the ability to write scientific papers for Islamic banking students, from understanding the flow to publishing their writings in outstanding journals. This writing class event is held in 3 (three) sessions through a zoom meeting. The first session will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, which will take place from 13.00 WIB to 14.30 WIB. Attended by the Head of the Islamic Banking Study Program, Mrs. Cut Erika Ananda Fatimah, S.E., M.B.A., and attended by 44 participants. This event began with participant registration, then continued with the reading of divine words as well as remarks by the Deputy Chair of the Sharia Banking HMPS and also the Head of the Sharia Banking Study Program. The main event in the Writing Class was the presentation of material by Mrs. Khansa Fairus S, S.E, which was about the rules of preparing scientific papers and overcoming deadlocks in writing. Then proceed with the presentation of certificates to speakers. The second session of the Writing Class event will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, which will take place from 09.00 to 11.30 WIB. This session was attended by around 30 participants with our speaker namely Mr. Syihaabul Hudaa, M.Pd. In this session, the speaker explained tips on writing scientific papers in reputable journals. This was followed by a question and answer session and the closing of session 2. Entering the third session of the Writing Class event which also concluded the series of events on Sunday, October 3, 2021. The third session was attended by 34 participants with the same speaker, but this time with a different theme. different, namely looking for references and making automatic citations with the Mendeley application. Then, followed by a question and answer session and the handover of certificates by the chief executive. After that, a quiz was held from the kahoot website which was followed by all participants. Where in the quiz there are 20 questions within 10 seconds per question.
