31st Sharia Banking Doctoral Open Session: Zakat and Funds Not Recognized as Income (TBDSP) as Social Funds in Sharia Banking

Thursday (10/31/2024) Faculty of Economics and Business, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta, Doctoral Study Program in Islamic Banking held an open doctoral promotion examination in the Postgraduate Meeting Room, Building I, Faculty of Economics and Business, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta.
On this occasion, Promovendus Imam Haroki Enayatullah presented the results of his dissertation research entitled "Zakat and Funds Not Recognized as Income (TBDSP) as Social Funds in Islamic Banking: Fiqh Analysis and Its Impact on Bank Performance" in front of the examining team chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nur Rianto Al Arif, S.E., M.Si.
The doctoral promotion examination was also attended by Promoter Prof. Dr. Euis Amalia M.Ag., Co-Promoter I Dr. Rini, SE., Ak., M.Si., Examiner I Prof. Ir. H. M. Nadratuzzaman Hosen, MS., Mec., Ph.D., Examiner II Rahmawati S.E., M.M., Ph.D and Expert Examiner Prof. Amelia Fauzia, Ph.D. In delivering the presentation, the doctoral candidate presented the results of his research comprehensively and smoothly so that the doctoral promotion hearing went very solemnly and sacredly.

In this open hearing, the expert examiner was unable to attend in person to examine the doctoral candidate so that the question and answer session was conducted using zoom. In the question session by the examiners, the doctoral candidate Imam Haroki Enayatullah was able to answer all questions from the examination team frankly and clearly so that the hearing ran smoothly and did not take too long.
Promovendus was declared to have graduated with Distinction (Cum Laude) and was entitled to hold a doctoral degree after presenting a dissertation entitled "Zakat and Funds Not Recognized as Income (TBDSP) as Social Funds in Islamic Banking: Fiqh Analysis and Its Impact on Bank Performance", and is the 31st Doctor in the Islamic Banking Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta.
