SOUTH TANGERANG, September 25, 2026 – In an effort to improve the productivity and quality of research among the academic community, the Accounting Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) held a research workshop titled “The Use of AI in Accounting and Islamic Finance Research.” This solemn event took place in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the FEB Building on Jl. Ibnu Sina.
This academic event was officially opened by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Sofyan Rizal, M.Si, and was attended by faculty members and students from the Accounting Study Program.

In her opening remarks, the Chair of the Accounting Program, Dr. Fitri Damayanti, M.Si, stated that the primary objective of this research workshop was to encourage faculty members to be more productive in writing and publishing scientific articles. “This research workshop aims to encourage faculty members to be more productive in writing articles using artificial intelligence technology,” said Fitri.
Moving into the main session, the keynote speaker, Dr. Ayatullah Michael Musyaffi, S.E., Ak., M.Ak., CA., provided an in-depth presentation and a live demonstration on the use of artificial intelligence technology in research. In his presentation, Dr. Ayatullah explained and demonstrated the use of Scopus.ai, SciSpace, ChatGPT, Claude, and other applications that can be maximized to write articles suitable for publication in prestigious journals. Participants appeared enthusiastic as they took part in hands-on simulations of these AI tools to accelerate literature searches and the drafting of research manuscripts.

The workshop concluded with a group photo session featuring all participants, organizers, and speakers, followed by the presentation of souvenirs as a token of appreciation to the speakers for the knowledge and insights they shared. (AC)
