At the FEB Consignment Opening in Bogor, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Officially Launched the Master’s Program in Management and Recognized FEB’s Contributions to the University
Bogor, May 21, 2026 – The Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., officially opened the Workshop on Academic and Institutional Strengthening of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), held in Bogor from May 20–22, 2026. This strategic event was attended in person by the Dean of FEB, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si, along with the leadership team, including the Vice Deans, Heads of Study Programs (Kaprodi), and Secretaries of Study Programs (Sekprodi) within FEB.
In his keynote address, Rector Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar emphasized the importance of fostering a spirit of service and strengthening cross-sectoral cooperation and collaboration as the cornerstone for building the future of FEB. The Rector reminded attendees that unity and a shared vision among program and faculty leaders are the key to addressing the challenges of the modern academic world.
“Building a strong institution requires good intentions, sincere dedication from all of us, and synergistic collaboration. There is no room for working in isolation; the progress of FEB and UIN Jakarta as a whole can only be achieved if we move forward together in a collaborative spirit,” emphasized Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar before the FEB leadership.
In addition to providing strategic direction, the Rector specifically expressed his high appreciation for FEB’s successes and tangible contributions in supporting the university. FEB is regarded as the primary driving force in planning, financial management, and the development of the university’s business sector, which has positively impacted the strengthening of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta’s financial independence.
This consignment event also marked a new milestone in the faculty’s academic development. On the sidelines of the event, the Rector of UIN Jakarta symbolically inaugurated the opening of the Master of Management (MM) Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The establishment of this MM program is expected to address the market’s need for competent master’s graduates of high integrity who are capable of integrating Islamic values with modern management science.
The launch of this new program was further strengthened by a benchmarking session with the keynote speaker, Prof. Amin Wibowo, Ph.D. (Board of Directors of the MBA Program at FEB UGM), who presented strategies for international-standard graduate program governance to provide an initial roadmap for the future success of the Master of Management Program at FEB UIN Jakarta.
Through this three-day workshop, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is fully committed to translating the Rector’s directives into concrete steps regarding curriculum and institutional governance to realize a faculty of economics and business that is excellent, globally competitive, and internationally renowned.
