Ponorogo, December 3, 2025. Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si, expressed the readiness of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta, to host the 14th ASEAN International Conference on Islamic Finance (AICIF). This was conveyed by the dean during a dinner on the first day of the AICIF at the Main Lobby of the UNIDA Gontor campus. The dean, accompanied by the Vice Dean for Cooperation, Asyari Hasan, and the Head of the FEB Delegation, Rahmawati, expressed his readiness to host the event next year. “Insya Allah, FEB UIN Jakarta is ready to host the 14th AICIF. We look forward to welcoming our colleagues from Malaysia, the Philippines, and other AICIF member countries to UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta next year,” said the Dean.

At this year's AICIF, FEB sent 20 lecturers and students to attend a conference on Islamic finance at UNIDA Gontor. The event will be held on December 3-5, 2025, and was opened by the Head of the Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School, KH. Hasan Abdullah Sahal. The head of the FEB delegation, Rahmawati, said that there are 18 papers that will be presented by lecturers and students at this event. “Alhamdulillah, there are 18 papers that will be presented by lecturers and students of FEB UIN Jakarta at this AICIF,” said Rahma. Meanwhile, on the second day, the Dean of FEB, Prof. Qizam, is scheduled to give a lecture on Islamic Finance. “Insya Allah, on the second day, our Dean, Prof. Qizam, will deliver a lecture in the UNIDA plenary hall,” added Rahma. 
In addition to the presentation of papers by conference participants from IIUM Malaysia, Mindanao University, UNIDA Gontor, UIN Yogyakarta, and other campuses, the AICIF event also featured a public lecture by Prof. Habib Ahmed Durham University and other international speakers. (AC)
