Back to Discussing Crowdfunding Ali Rama & Herni Ali's Article Published in Scopus

Jakarta, January 12, 2026. Lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta have once again contributed to the internationalization program at UIN Jakarta. An article by Ali Rama and Herni Ali was published in the reputable Scopus Q1 and SJR 1.07 international journal Management Decision, published by Emerald Publishing Limited.
Still on the topic of crowdfunding, Ali Rama and Herni Ali have written an article titled “Enhancing Charitable Crowdfunding: The Role of Signaling Information.” In their research, Ali and Herni suggest that campaigners should adjust the use of visuals to avoid information overload, implement updates strategically to maintain engagement without weakening previous signals, and align experience-based cues with the initiator's profile. Platforms can increase campaign success by directing the optimal intensity and sequence of signals, as well as building initial trust through mechanisms such as timely fund allocation. “Our research suggests that campaigners (crowdfunding) should adjust the use of visuals in their campaigns to avoid information overload,” said Ali, who is also the Head of the Sharia Economics Study Program at FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Sofyan Rizal, congratulated Ali and Herni on their achievements. “We congratulate Mr. Ali Rama and Mr. Herni Ali on their achievements. Hopefully, this will motivate other lecturers at FEB,” said Sofyan.
Congratulations and best wishes. (AC)
