Bringing Pride to FEB, Jihan Paradilla Wins 3rd Place in the Grand Final of the UIN Jakarta Ambassador Selection 2026–2027

South Tangerang, August 11, 2026. The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has reason to be proud. Jihan Faradilla, a student from the Economics Development Study Program class of 2024, secured 3rd place in the Grand Final of the UIN Jakarta Ambassador Selection (2026–2027), held at the Harun Nasution Auditorium on Tuesday (August 11, 2026).

Interestingly, there is a unique story behind this achievement. After the registration period closed, not a single FEB student had signed up as a candidate for the UIN Jakarta Ambassador role. Noting this absence, the organizing committee contacted FEB UIN Jakarta and granted a time extension so the faculty could still send a representative. The FEB Vice Dean for Student Affairs (Vice Dean III) personally contacted Jihan Paradilla to invite her to register. Although she had not initially intended to participate, Jihan became interested and decided to step forward to represent FEB in the prestigious event, thanks to the encouragement from the Vice Dean.

That decision proved worthwhile. One aspect that drew attention to Jihan was her height of 171 cm; it lent her an air of elegance and confidence as she walked the stage, serving as a distinctive highlight throughout the Grand Final proceedings.

The event, part of UIN Jakarta’s 69th Anniversary celebrations, brought together 16 ambassador candidates from various faculties for direct evaluation by a panel of judges. Jihan successfully navigated the three-stage selection process, which consisted of an interview, an interest and talent showcase, and an on-stage Q&A session. During the interview, she answered the judges' questions clearly and insightfully. In the interest and talent segment, she delivered a captivating monologue that held the rapt attention of the entire audience at the Harun Nasution Auditorium. During the on-stage Q&A session, Jihan once again demonstrated her ability to think quickly and answer spontaneous questions in a manner that captivated the audience.

It was this series of performances that ultimately led Jihan Paradilla to secure third place, bringing pride to the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) within the university community.

Responding to this achievement, Dr. Asyari Hasan, M.Ag., CM.—the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation at FEB UIN Jakarta, who witnessed the Grand Final from start to finish—expressed his pride. He noted that this year, the FEB delegation once again succeeded in reaching the top three, continuing the success of the previous year when Egi won first place. The Vice Dean hopes this achievement will inspire other FEB students to have the confidence to step forward and compete, and he looks forward to FEB securing the top spot again in the future.

Reflecting on her achievement, Jihan Paradilla expressed her gratitude and thanks to the entire FEB UIN Jakarta academic community for their support throughout the selection process.

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire FEB UIN Jakarta academic community for their support and prayers. Without the support of the lecturers, staff, and all my fellow students, I do not think I would be where I am today. Thank you for believing in my potential. I hope to make even greater contributions to the reputation of FEB in the future," said Jihan.

The entire FEB UIN Jakarta academic community extends its congratulations to Jihan Paradilla on this proud achievement.(ah)
