Jakarta, January 3, 2026. The academic community of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a ceremony to commemorate the Ministry of Religious Affairs' Charity Day (HAB) at the Student Center Field on Saturday morning, January 3, 2026. The ceremony was led by the Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, PhD, with the theme “Harmonious and Synergistic Community, Peaceful and Progressive Indonesia.”

In his speech, the Rector highlighted the challenges of the era, namely Artificial Intelligence (AI). He conveyed the Minister of Religious Affairs' message that the Ministry of Religious Affairs' civil servants should not just be spectators amid rapid technological changes. 

“We must not just be spectators; we must have AI sovereignty. If in the past, scholars colored the world through literacy, today ASN of the Ministry of Religious Affairs must color the substance of AI with authoritative, moderate, and soothing religious content,” said Prof. Asep, quoting the Minister of Religious Affairs' speech.

On this HAB occasion, eight FEB employees received the Satyalancana Karya Satya honorary award, consisting of one educational staff member, Mardawati, SPd, with 30 years of service, 6 lecturers with 20 years of service, namely Prof. Dr. Ade Sofyan Mulazid, Dr. Arief Fitrijanto, Dr. Leis Suzanawaty, Prof. Muhammad, Dr. Rini, and Dr. Titi Dewi Warninda, as well as 1 lecturer with 10 years of service, Ali Rama, PhD
