South Tangerang, Saturday, July 11, 2026 – The Accounting Student Association (HMPS) of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a 2026 Comparative Study event under the theme: “CONNECT: by Collaborating Openly and Networking Broadly, We Nurture Ideas, Exchange, Create Solutions, and Thrive Together.”
The Comparative Study is a work program of the Public Relations Department aimed at fostering inter-organizational cooperation, exchanging innovative ideas, and building extensive networks to create shared solutions for the advancement of both study programs. This interactive meeting served as a pivotal moment for both student organizations to conduct structural benchmarking. The discussion focused primarily on analyzing strategic work programs, managing internal communications, and formulating solutions to organizational challenges faced by students in the current era of digital transformation.

“Through this comparative study, we are not only expanding formal institutional relationships but also internalizing the essence of the CONNECT theme itself. Open collaboration and broad networking will serve as vital stimuli for generating new work program innovations that are relevant to student needs,” stated the Event Chairperson of the HMPS Accounting UIN Jakarta Comparative Study. This statement also marked the official commencement of the insight-sharing session.

The event began with presentations on the organizational profiles of each association. This session covered leadership structures, visions and missions, and introductions to flagship work programs from each department. These presentations provided an initial overview of the differences and similarities in the work cultures of the two organizations. The event then proceeded to the core activity, where all committee members were divided into several Focus Group Discussion (FGD) groups as determined by the organizers. Here, they discussed specific topics and sought solutions to the issues at hand. Three topics were addressed during the FGD session: 1. “Exchange & Create” – Inter-campus Work Program Collaboration. 2. “Nurture Ideas” – Fostering creative ideas to attract new members. 3. “Networking Broadly” – Building connections for future accountants in the digital era. The event proceeded with a break for lunch and prayers, allowing the board members and organizing committee some downtime.
Afterward, the activity continued with a presentation session where each Focus Group Discussion (FGD) team shared their findings. This session showcased solutions to specific issues based on the material they had covered. To revitalize energy and foster camaraderie, the committee organized interactive group games. Through these fun activities, any initial awkwardness between students from the two campuses completely dissolved amidst laughter and solid teamwork. The event concluded with a symbolic exchange of plaques as a token of appreciation and a commitment to maintaining a positive relationship in the future. The activity wrapped up with a closing prayer and a photo session.
Although there were a few minor technical issues, the committee handled them effectively, ensuring the overall flow of the event remained uninterrupted. Coordination among the committee, participants, and HIMADA UPN Veteran Jakarta was excellent, maintaining an atmosphere that was conducive, communicative, and filled with a sense of kinship.
Overall, this comparative study visit can be considered a success; it achieved its established objectives, strengthened inter-institutional ties, expanded collaborative networks, and provided tangible benefits to both organizations for improving their future management quality.(akt)
