Jakarta, August 11, 2025 – The Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully held a Concentration Dialogue event aimed at providing students with insights to help them make more informed choices when selecting their areas of interest. The event took place on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the 5th Floor Theater Room of the FEB Building on Ibnu Sina Street.

The event was officially opened by the Head of the Development Economics Program, Arief Fitrijanto. In his opening remarks, Arief emphasized the importance of selecting a concentration that aligns with students' interests and talents to support their future careers.

The concentration dialogue featured two experts in their fields, Dr. Fitri Amalia and Shelby D. Widodo, M.Sc. Both provided in-depth presentations on the various concentration groups available in the Development Economics Program, namely Development Planning Economics, Regional Economics, Monetary Economics, and Public Economics. The speakers detailed the curriculum, career opportunities, and challenges in each concentration. Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions, and interacted with the speakers.

With this activity, it is hoped that students can make the right decisions in choosing their concentration, so that their study process becomes more focused and in line with their respective professional goals. The event ended with a question and answer session and a group photo. (AC)
