Jakarta, Tuesday, August 12, 2025 The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a Quran reading test as part of its cultural and campus orientation program. The event was attended by over a thousand new students for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Asyari Hasan, stated that the Quran reading test is part of FEB’s efforts to cultivate a generation capable of reading and memorizing the Quran. “As part of the State Islamic University (UIN), FEB strives to nurture and shape a generation of scholars who are not only proficient in economic knowledge but also proficient in reading and memorizing the Quran,” said Asyari.
The Quran reading test examiners were selected students from the fourth and fifth semesters coordinated through the Student Association of the Program Study. The event took place in a relaxed yet solemn atmosphere, attended by the new students. (AC)
