Dean of FEB: Business Unit Development is Important to Accelerate the Transformation of PTN-BH

Jakarta, February 3, 2026. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah held a pre-working meeting for leaders at the ADIA Convention Center Campus 2. At the meeting, FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta was represented by Dean Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si, who is also the Chair of Commission 2. In addition to Prof. Qizam, the meeting was also attended by Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Sofyan Rizal, Vice Dean for General Administration Erika Amelia, Vice Dean for Cooperation & Student Affairs Asyari Hasan, Head of Administration Iin Marlina, and Chair of LSP UIN Jakarta Reskino.

Commission 2, chaired by the Dean of FEB, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA, focused the discussion on accelerating the transformation of UIN Jakarta into a State Legal Entity University (PTN-BH). Based on the evaluation, the university has met the academic eligibility criteria with 62.37 percent of its study programs accredited as Excellent, as well as financial readiness that includes the availability of deposits above 300 billion rupiah. The main focus of this commission is to ensure that bureaucratic reform and campus governance are carried out transparently and based on risk management.

"The year 2025 will be a crucial moment after nine years of our struggle to propose PTN-BH. We are targeting 2027 or even 2026 for the regulation to be issued so that universities can be more aggressive in developing business units. This aims to ensure that by 2031, revenue from non-UKT sectors will exceed revenue from student services, so that the burden of education costs no longer falls on students," he explained.

In addition to financial strengthening, Commission 2 has also formulated a strategic roadmap until 2030 that includes human resource management and remuneration system adjustments. The commission emphasizes the importance of protecting the welfare of lecturers and educational staff during the transition period to prevent a decline in compensation standards.
