Jakarta, October 15, 2025. Dean of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si opened the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Public Discussion with the theme “Optimizing BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Membership for Indonesia Emas 2045” in the theater room on the 5th floor of the FEB Building on Jalan Ibnu Sina. The event featured the Director of BPJS Employment Membership, Eko Nugriyanto; Commissioner of the Indonesian Ombudsman, Hery Susanto; Labor Law Expert, Subiyanto; Head of the UIN Jakarta Career Center, Kholis Hamdy; and Director of the Center for Economic Development & Public Policy Studies, FEB, Rizqon Halalsyah Aji, was attended by students and lecturers from FEB UIN Jakarta.
In his opening remarks, Dean Prof. Qizam emphasized the importance of such discussion events to enhance students' literacy regarding labor issues in Indonesia. “Public discussions like this are very important to increase literacy about labor in Indonesia, social protection, and the rights and obligations of Indonesian citizens,” said the Dean, accompanied by Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Sofyan Rizal.
The discussion was lively, moderated by the Head of the Development Economics Study Program, Arief Fitrijanto. The event ended with a group photo and a reception. (AC)
