Jakarta, February 25, 2026. To fill the solemnity of the holy month of Ramadan, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a Ramadan Kultum event entitled “Wisdom in Understanding Fiqh” on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. This solemn event took place at the Mosque on the 3rd Floor of the FEB Building, Jalan Ibnu Sina.
The keynote speaker was KH. Irhamsyah, Lc., MA, who is the leader of the Darussofa Islamic Boarding School in Cigombong, Bogor, as well as a lecturer in the Sharia Banking Study Program at FEB UIN Jakarta. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of a moderate and contextual approach in understanding Islamic law (fiqh) so that it can be applied wisely in the midst of a dynamic modern society.
Sofyan Rizal, Deputy Dean 1 for Academic Affairs at FEB UIN Jakarta, explained that this routine activity after Zhuhur prayer is not just a religious routine, but a forum for strengthening the spiritual intellect of educators.
"This religious lecture aims to broaden the religious knowledge of lecturers. Previous speakers include Prof. Rodoni, Prof. Desmadi, and other lecturers. In addition to spiritual guidance, the session also featured lively discussions on current conditions in Indonesia from religious and social perspectives," said Sofyan Rizal.

This lecture was attended by enthusiastic FEB lecturers who discussed the relevance of fiqh in responding to contemporary challenges. Through interactive dialogue, participants were invited to view national issues with a clearer and more solution-oriented perspective.
With this activity, FEB UIN Jakarta hopes to build an academic environment that is not only intellectually superior in the fields of economics and business, but also has a strong and inclusive religious foundation. (AC)
