Development Economics Student Association Successfully Concludes "PORAGA" Sports Week with Futsal and Badminton Events

South Tangerang, June 2, 2026 – The Student Association of the Development Economics Study Program (HMPS EP) for the 2026/2027 period has successfully concluded its highly anticipated sports week, “Pekan Olahraga dan Gagasan (PORAGA)”. As part of the association’s routine work program supervised by the Interest and Talent Department, this year's PORAGA featured two main sporting events: Futsal and Badminton.

The sports week kicked off with the Futsal branch on April 8, 2026, at Primaraga Futsal Field. The event began at 16:30 WIB with participant registration and payments. The futsal matches officially started at 17:00 WIB and ran fiercely until a brief break for the Maghrib prayer at 18:05 WIB. Matches resumed at 18:15 WIB and concluded at 19:00 WIB. The futsal event closed with a group photo session at 19:01 WIB, serving as documentation and a symbol of sportsmanship among players and supporters.

Following the success of futsal, the Badminton branch was held on April 23, 2026, at GOR Mustika. Participants gathered starting at 17:30 WIB, followed by individual warm-up sessions at 18:00 WIB. Due to the high enthusiasm and large number of participants, the committee rented two courts and implemented a "fun match" rotation system. To ensure fairness, a 10-minute timer was set for each session, allowing everyone to take turns playing from 18:05 WIB to 19:55 WIB. The event wrapped up smoothly at 20:00 WIB with a final group photo before participants returned home.

Both events ran seamlessly and according to their predetermined schedules. PORAGA served not only as a recreational sports activity but also as a vital platform to strengthen solidarity and silaturahmi (friendship) among Development Economics students.

The successful execution of PORAGA has created a positive momentum, providing an energetic and meaningful experience that encourages students to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle while enhancing their soft skills and personal development beyond academic pursuits.
