Dimas Successfully Becomes the First Doctor in the 2021 Class of Islamic Banking Doctoral Program
Thursday (12/12/2024) The Islamic Banking Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta, held its 33rd open doctoral promotion examination in the Postgraduate Meeting Room, Building I, FEB, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
The promoter at this open session was Dimas Kenn Syahrir who presented the results of his dissertation research entitled "Inherent Risk of Money Laundering Against Internal Control with Maqashid Syariah as a Moderating Variable in Islamic Banking" in front of the examining team chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nur Rianto Al Arif, S.E., M.Si.
The doctoral promotion session was also attended by Promoter Prof. Dr. Desmadi Saharuddin M.A., Co-Promoter I Zuhairan Yunmi Yunan S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Co-Promoter II Rahmawati S.E., M.M., Ph.D., Examiner I Prof. Dr. Ahmad Rodoni M.M., Examiner II Dr. Yusar Sagara S.E,. M.Si, Ak and invited Expert Examiners who are currently still actively serving as Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK).
Promovendus Dimas Kenn Syahrir is the first graduate of the Sharia Banking Doctoral study program, Class of 2021/2022 and has successfully completed his studies in a relatively short time, namely 3.5 years. The expert examiners stated that the dissertation of the promovendus was a good and perfect dissertation.
Furthermore, in the question session by the examiners, promovendus Dimas Kenn Syahrir was able to answer the entire series of questions from the examiner team frankly and clearly so that this trial ran solemnly, smoothly and in a relatively short time.
Promovendus was declared to have passed with a very satisfactory grade and predicate and was entitled to hold a doctoral degree after presenting a dissertation entitled "The Inherent Risk of Money Laundering Against Internal Control with Maqashid Syariah as a Moderating Variable in Islamic Banking", and is the 33rd Doctor in the Islamic Banking Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta.(acad)
