Director Eko Nugriyanto Explains 5 BPJS Employment Programs to Students and Lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta

Jakarta, October 15, 2025. The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Public Discussion entitled “Optimizing BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Membership for Indonesia Emas 2045” in the theater room on the 5th floor of the FEB Building on Jalan Ibnu Sina. The event featured BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Participation Director Eko Nugriyanto, Indonesian Ombudsman Commissioner Hery Susanto, Labor Law Expert Subiyanto, Head of the UIN Jakarta Career Center Kholis Hamdy, and Director of the Center for Economic Development & Public Policy Studies FEB, Rizqon Halalsyah Aji, was attended by students and faculty members of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Jakarta and was opened by Dean Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si.

The Director of Membership at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Eko Nugriyanto, presented five main social security programs offered by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan that provide significant benefits for those in the workforce, including both business owners and employees. "There are five social security programs that provide tremendous benefits for business owners and employees. The five programs are Work Accident Insurance (JKK), Death Insurance (JKM), Pension Insurance (JP), and Unemployment Insurance (JKP)," said Eko, who was warmly welcomed by the discussion participants.

Eko also added the strategic role of students in terms of employment in Indonesia. “This discussion forum is very strategic because many of the participants are students who will later become business people or enter the workforce,” Eko added.

The discussion was led by moderator Arief Fitrijanto, who is also the Head of the Development Economics Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. (AC)
