Discussing the Future Direction of Economic Independence, FEB Lecturers Attend Lemhannas National Seminar
Jakarta, August 11, 2025 Representatives of lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, attended a National Seminar at the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (Lemhannas). The theme of the 25th National Seminar on Leadership Consolidation Education (P3N) was “Future Direction for Economic Independence: Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) or Agent of Development?”
Representing FEB UIN Jakarta were the Head of the Development Economics Program Arief Fitrijanto, the Head of the Management Program Murdiyah Hayati, the Head of the Accounting Program Fitri Damayanti, the Secretary of Islamic Banking Program Ade Ananto, the Head of the Master's Program in Islamic Economics Nofrianto, and the Head of the Master's Program in Islamic Banking Muhajirin. Participants of the P3N XXV Lemhannas Seminar, comprising civil servants and military/police officers, will explore and analyze the role of Danantara as a Sovereign Fund or Agent of Development to achieve national economic independence.
“The issue or policy of the President regarding self-reliance, Danantara is a very strategic policy toward Indonesia's economic transformation so that we can achieve economic self-reliance,” said Lemhannas Governor Ace Hasan Syadzily after opening the P3N XXV National Seminar. He stated that P3N participants aim to formulate strategic steps to ensure Danantara operates in line with the President's expectations, including becoming the primary driver for Indonesia's quality and long-term economic growth.
In line with Ace, Head of the Development Economics Study Program, Arief Fitrijanto said that lecturers as academics are ready to contribute in helping the government develop Danantara. “We as academics are proud to be present at Lemhannas and are ready to contribute to the development and advancement of Danantara,” said Arief.
The seminar ended with a reception and group photo at the Lemhannas Building. (AC)
