Jakarta, January 10, 2026. The Development Economics Study Program has added another lecturer with a doctoral degree after Najwa Khairina successfully defended her dissertation entitled “Essays on The Impact of Mobile Network Expansion and Socio-political Outcomes in Indonesia” before the open session of the Postgraduate Program in Economics, Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Indonesia. With the attainment of this Doctorate in Economics, Najwa has become the 12th lecturer with a doctoral degree in the Development Economics Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
The Dean of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si, congratulated Najwa Khairina on her success in obtaining her doctoral degree. “We congratulate Mrs. Najwa Khairina for successfully obtaining her doctorate in economics. Hopefully, this will motivate other lecturers and bring success to all of us,” said Prof. Qizam.
