Encourage Student Publication, Sharia Economics Study Program Holds International Student Research Camp Activities

Jakarta, 19 November 2025. The Sharia Economics Study Program holds an International Student Research Camp in order to encourage student publications both nationally and internationally. A series of activities will be held from 19 November 2025 to 08 December 2025 by inviting international academics including Olatunji Abdul Shobande from Hartwick College (USA), Malika Ouacha from Rotterdam Netherlands, Mohamad Soleh Nurzaman from the University of Indonesia, and Zuhairan Yunmi Yunan, lecturer FEB UIN Jakarta and University Malaya Malaysia.

In session 1 of the international student research camp activities, Mohamad Soleh Nurzaman will be guided by Diamantin Rohadatul Aisy and Erika Amelia, who are also lecturers in the Sharia economics study program FEB UIN Jakarta. Head of the Sharia economics study program, Ali Rama, said that the international student research camp's activities aim to increase student publications in national and international journals. “This activity aims to improve students' ability to process their final assignments into a quality publication published in national and international journals”, said this Aberdeen alumnus.

Activities in session 1 will be held in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the FEB Building, Jalan Ibnu Sina, with the theme: “From thesis ideas to scientific articles: building a published mindset and research plan”. (AC)
