TANGERANG SELATAN, OCTOBER 29, 2026 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta organized a Lecturer Data Synchronization event on Thursday, October 29, 2026, held at the 2nd Floor Meeting Room, FEB Building, Ibnu Sina Street, Campus 2 of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The event, which commenced at 1:00 PM Western Indonesia Time (WIB), was attended by the faculty leadership and academic staff.

The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Dr. Sofyan Rizal, M.Si. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the critical importance of regularly updating academic track record data to strengthen the institution’s reputation.

"This lecturer data synchronization event is highly crucial, particularly regarding publication data indexed across the Garuda Portal, SINTA, and Scopus. Updating research track records is a strategic step to broaden reach and enhance the productivity and publication rankings of lecturers at FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta at both national and international levels," stated Dr. Sofyan Rizal, M.Si.

Serving as the main keynote speaker was Dr. Parhan Hidayat, M.Hum. from the Quality Assurance Agency (LPM) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. In his presentation titled "Building Academic Profiles: Optimizing Google Scholar, SINTA, and Garuda Profiles for Academic Visibility", he detailed the technical steps for managing research repositories. The presentation covered guidelines for linking institutional emails, managing author IDs, and the mechanism for merging duplicate Scopus IDs to prevent discrepancies in the calculation of lecturers' SINTA scores.

Following the presentation and technical discussion session, Dr. Parhan Hidayat conveyed the Quality Assurance Agency's full commitment to assisting the faculty members. He affirmed that LPM UIN Jakarta is fully prepared to facilitate and assist with data updates and the optimization of lecturers' scientific publication portal accounts.

The event concluded with a live data recapitulation session, followed by a networking session and a group photo involving the leadership, speaker, and all attending lecturers. (AC)
