Jakarta, April 28, 2025 - The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta today received a visit from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Terbuka. This visit aims to improve cooperation and strengthen relations between the two higher education institutions.

The visit of FEB Universitas Terbuka was received directly by the Dean of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si, accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Sofyan Rizal, M.Si and the Vice Dean for General Administration Dr. Erika Amelia, M.Si, Head of Administration Imam Thobroni, MM, all Heads of Study Programs and Secretaries of Study Programs within FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The FEB Universitas Terbuka group was led by the Dean Dr. Meirani Harsasi, M.Si, Vice Dean for Student Affairs & Cooperation, Olivia Idrus, M.Sc, Head of Sharia Economics Study Program Fuad Hadziq, M.Si, and Dr. Indar Fauziah, ME, lecturer in the Sharia Economics study program. This meeting took place in the dean's room on the 2nd floor of the new FEB building on Jalan Ibnu Sina, Ciputat, South Tangerang.

In his speech, the Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta conveyed with open arms the opportunities for collaboration that could be carried out by the two campuses. "We hope for sustainable collaboration between these two adjacent state campuses, in the field of teaching because we have many professors, collaborative research and publications as well as community service activities," said the professor of accounting who is familiarly called Prof. Qizam. In line with Prof. Qizam, the Dean of FEB UT, Dr. Meirani expressed her hope to be able to improve cooperation between the two parties more optimally through concrete activities such as becoming an online tutor, compiling joint modules and other community service activities involving lecturers both at UIN and UT.

The visit activity ended with the signing of a memorandum of understanding signed by the Dean of FEB UIN and the Dean of FEB UT as a form of sustainable collaboration for the sake of improving the academic quality of both institutions on the national and international stage. (AC)
