Expanding the Market, FEB Explores Cooperation with Menara Syariah Jakarta
Jakarta, September 25, 2025 The Sharia Tower is a tower planned to become a landmark of Sharia economics and finance in Indonesia. This twin tower is located in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area of Jakarta. Recognizing this, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, which offers several Sharia economics and finance programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels, is striving to play a role in the development of Sharia economics and finance through exploratory cooperation with the Sharia Tower. The Dean of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta brought this cooperation mission during his visit to Menara Syariah. The FEB visit was led by Dean Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si., Deputy Dean for General Administration, Dr. Erika Amelia, M.Si., the Cooperation and Internationalization Team Rizqon Halal and Yoghi Citra, accompanied by the UIN Jakarta Halal Guarantee Agency Team and several lecturers, were received by Menara Syariah Commissioner Hariyanto Solichin and his team in the meeting room on the 10th floor of the Menara Syariah Building (West Tower).
In a lively discussion, the Dean of FEB expressed his desire to open classes at Menara Syariah. “It is an honor to be part of a landmark in the development of the Sharia economy and finance. We will certainly explore efforts to open degree and non-degree classes at Menara Syariah,” said the Dean enthusiastically.
Hariyanto Solichin, Commissioner of Menara Syariah, welcomed the Dean’s proposal. “We are very pleased if UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has joined us in developing and advancing the Islamic economy and finance in Indonesia,” said Hariyanto, who is also the manager of Pantai Indah Kapuk, in front of the discussion participants.
Following the discussion, the visit agenda included a reception and group photos at various locations within the Menara Syariah Jakarta building. (AC)
