Exploring Study Cooperation, FEB Postgraduate Program Holds Meeting with Jakarta Provincial BPSDM
Jakarta, January 7, 2026. The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Uin Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a meeting via Zoom with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM), which was attended by Vice Rector for Cooperation Prof. Din Wahid, PhD. FEB Dean Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si, deputy deans, heads of study programs, and secretaries of postgraduate study programs, as well as staff members at BPSDM Prov. Jakarta. FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta discussed opportunities for cooperation related to study assignments and independent study permits for DKI Jakarta Provincial Civil Servants (ASN). During the discussion, it was conveyed that scholarships for study assignments are managed with very strict requirements and are open to all DKI Jakarta ASN through a transparent and accountable selection mechanism.
In addition to discussing cooperation, this meeting also presented the academic profile of UIN Syarif Hiayatullah Jakarta, specifically the Master of Sharia Economics, Master of Sharia Banking, and Doctor of Sharia Banking programs. Currently, there are around 2,400 UIN Jakarta students from DKI Jakarta who receive assistance from the Jakarta Excellent Student Card (KJMU). “Currently, there are 2,400 Jakarta residents studying at UIN Jakarta who receive KJMU,” said Prof. Din Wahid. Dean of FEB Prof. Qizam added that FEB is ready to be a study option for Jakarta Provincial ASNs carrying out study assignments. “FEB UIN Jakarta is ready to be the choice of DKI Jakarta ASNs to carry out study assignments,” added Prof. Qizam.
Head of Quality Assurance at BPSDM, Zaki, said that Jakarta Province ASNs undergo internal selection before being assigned to study. “BPSDM conducts a rigorous selection process for ASNs who will carry out study assignments so that they are effective and on target,” said Zaki.
The meeting continued with a presentation of the study program and a question-and-answer session led by Prof. Nur Hidayah, Head of the Doctoral Program in Islamic Banking. (AC/KKNWD22026)
