Jakarta — The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN Jakarta) has once again achieved a remarkable achievement. Aliya Fatihan Nisa, a FEB majoring Sharia Economics student at UIN Jakarta, won first place in the National Essay Competition at the 2026 National Education Festival (Fesdiknas).
The competition was organized by the Civic Law Student Association (HMCH), Indonesia University of Education (UPI), Bandung, and was attended by participants from various universities throughout Indonesia.
This achievement is a clear testament to the quality of FEB UIN Jakarta students in critical thinking, expressing ideas in writing, and competing at the national level. This achievement is also expected to motivate other students at FEB UIN Jakarta to continue actively participating in academic and non-academic competitions. Aliya herself expressed her gratitude for this achievement and hoped that it would motivate other students to continue working hard and bring honor to their alma mater.
"Alhamdulillah, this achievement is certainly inseparable from the support of lecturers, family, and friends. Hopefully, this can motivate other students to continue achieving," she said.

Responding to this achievement, Dr. Asyari Hasan, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta, expressed his appreciation and pride.
"Alhamdulillah, we welcome Aliya's achievement. This demonstrates that FEB UIN Jakarta students are capable of competing and thinking critically on a national level," said Asyari.
He hoped that this achievement would not make Aliya complacent. "Hopefully, she won't be satisfied with this achievement and can continue to improve to a higher level in the future. This can certainly serve as an example for other students, especially at FEB," Asyari concluded.
Aliya's achievements are expected to inspire the entire academic community of FEB UIN Jakarta to continue honing their writing and critical thinking skills, while also spurring the spirit of competition on the national and international stage.(ah)
