Bogor – Students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta have once again achieved national success. Ghaitsa Rahman Karim, along with a collaborative team from across study programs and universities, won a Gold Medal in the Essay Category under the Education Sub-theme at the 2026 IDEA Festival 5 National Level.

The competition, themed "Ideas and Creativity of the Young Generation in Realizing a Golden Indonesia 2045," was organized by the Sentosa Foundation in collaboration with the Bogor Science Club (BSC) of the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). The event took place on June 6, 2026, at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, IPB University, Bogor.

The team submitted an essay entitled "V-Track: EduTech-Based Community Innovation and Real Action for Equitable Education in the 3T Regions Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045." This initiative offers a solution for equitable education in the Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged (3T) regions through the use of educational technology (EduTech) combined with community empowerment and sustainable concrete action programs.

The development team consists of Ghaitsa Rahman Karim from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta; Ibni Nur Hilma, Putri Khairani Lubis, and Oliviani Salsabila from the Faculty of Islamic Education and Teacher Training (FITK) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta; and Nadhira Haque Ramadhania from UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The team received guidance from Syihaabul Hudaa, M.Pd. and Iwan Permana Suwarna, M.Pd.

This achievement is a proud achievement and demonstrates the team's consistency in producing innovative ideas that contribute to solving various educational problems in Indonesia. Previously, at the 2025 National IDEA Festival, the same team also won First Runner-Up in the national essay competition.

The Faculty of Economics and Business of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta expressed its appreciation for this achievement and hopes that it will inspire all students to continue working, innovating, and making real contributions to society. This success is also expected to further strengthen UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's reputation at the national and international levels through academic achievements and student innovation.

Meanwhile, Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Economics and Business of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta expressed his high appreciation for the achievements of Ghaitsa Rahman Karim and his team. He stated that this achievement is clear evidence that FEB UIN Jakarta students are not only capable of competing nationally but also demonstrate a concern for various strategic issues facing society through innovative and solution-oriented ideas. He hopes this achievement will motivate other students to continue developing their academic and non-academic potential, actively participating in various competitions, and contributing to producing work that benefits society. He also emphasized the faculty's commitment to continuously supporting student achievement through various coaching programs, mentoring, and strengthening a superior, creative, and competitive academic culture at both the national and international levels.
