Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta Students Win Second Place in the "Class of Sharia" Competition at the 2026 Shafara x Digwara Event
SOUTH TANGERANG, May 25, 2026 — Three students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta have once again achieved outstanding achievements at the regional level.
The team, consisting of Farhana Kamilah, Rima Rahmatun Aliyah, and Alifa Mujahidah—all three students in the Sharia Economics study program, class of 2024, and active members of the Islamic Economics Study Group (KSEI)—successfully won second place in the Class of Sharia competition at the prestigious Shafara x Digwara 2026 event.
This large-scale event was hosted by the Bank Indonesia Representative Office (KPwBI) of Banten Province on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Bintaro Jaya Xchange Mall. The competition brought together students and economic activists to test their understanding, innovation, and literacy regarding the development of the Sharia financial and economic ecosystem in the digital era.

The Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta, Dr. Dr. Asyari Hasan, AK., CM., expressed his deep appreciation for his students' outstanding achievements.
"The leadership of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta, highly appreciates and is proud of the achievements of Farhana, Rima, and Alifa in this event organized by Bank Indonesia Banten. This victory proves that FEB UIN Jakarta students are capable of competing competitively and possess superior competencies, particularly in the discourse of Islamic economics. We always fully support every student's participation in competitions, as it is where their winning mentality and the practical application of their knowledge are honed," said Dr. Asyari Hasan.
This success is also inseparable from the active role of student organizations in developing their cadres. This was felt directly by the representative of the winning team, Farhana Kamilah, who considers this achievement a driving force to continue learning.
"We are very grateful for this achievement. The experience of competing in an event organized by Bank Indonesia Banten has given us new insights. I realize there's still much to learn. This achievement isn't a stopping point; it's a reminder to continue growing. Hopefully, we can continue to achieve successes like this in the future and motivate other students to try harder. Thank you for the support from the lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta, and the KSEI LiSEnSi family," said Farhana.
This victory is expected to be a catalyst for other students to continue working and make real contributions to advancing Islamic financial literacy in Indonesia. (ah)
