The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta in collaboration with Bank DKI held a Studium Generale entitled "Digital Technology Transformation in Accelerating the Sharia Banking Industry" in Theater Room 2, FEB UIN Jakarta Campus, Wednesday (23/11/2023).

The event was moderated by FEB UIN Jakarta Lecturer Cut Erika Ananda Fatimah, MBA. This invited several speakers, namely, Dr. Amirul Wicaksono, MM. (Director of Technology and Operations concurrently Acting Main Director of Bank DKI).

Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta, Prof. Ibnu Qizam, in his speech said that utilizing economic digitalization is necessary to achieve economic and business goals. "The sharia financial industry will become the backbone for the sharia industry," he said.

On this occasion, the speaker emphasized that banking acceleration by implementing collaboration in conventional and Sharia ecosystems will continue to develop. "To support this, there is a need for digitalization by preparing professional staff who have a digital mindset who provide innovation and development in the digital and technological fields of the sharia banking industry" he said.

At the end of the event with the hope that there will be a positive understanding regarding the digitalization of the sharia banking sector which has the opportunity to become a new source of economic growth for the national economy.
