FEB Online, Sharia Banking Doctoral Study Program FEB UIN Jakarta held a Workshop on Tuesday (21/5/2024) in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the FEB Baru building at 09.00-12.00 WIB, with the topic, "Understanding and Evaluating Qualitative Research".
This workshop invited speakers, namely Desi Adhariani, Ph.D (Lecturer at the University of Indonesia) and was moderated by Dr. Endah Meiria (Lecturer at FEB UIN Jakarta) with her enthusiastic demeanor.
Starting this workshop, the Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA. gave a speech by appreciating the holding of this event by the study program to provide students with broader knowledge about qualitative research.
Then continued with the presentation from the first resource person, namely, Desi Adhariani, Ph.D, explaining qualitative research. "Qualitative research is designed to tell researchers how to process and why things happen as they do," said Desi.
According to him To understand the different meanings that people give to their experiences often requires research techniques that dig deeper into people's interpretations, understandings, and hidden motivations.
At the end of the event, a question and answer session was opened between the workshop participants and the resource persons and closed by giving souvenirs to the resource persons.
